Team Trouble Executive Director Jovan Bankston Promoted

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY,CA—Jovan Bankston has been promoted to General Manager of Team Trouble, CEO James Paul announced Thursday on KXVS Radio.

“Bankston has proven himself over the past year to be the point for the whole organization,”said Paul.”He is a natural fit for the position.”

Bankston, who served as Executive Director last season, will replace JD Heinrich, who stepped down following the conclusion of the season.

“My reaction to being promoted was grateful and thankful,”said Bankston.”It never mattered what title I held with Team Trouble,as long as we were bringing success I was happy.”

As the ABA season fast approaches Bankston will look to take his experiences as Executive Director to his new role.

“My main goal is to build upon last year’s success,”said Bankston.”I want our organization to be one of the most recognizable franchise in ABA.”

Team Trouble and Head Coach George Hernandez agree to contract extension

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY,CA— After many conversations between Team Trouble CEO James Paul and Team Trouble Head Coach George Hernandez the team has agreed to extend his current contract ahead of the upcoming ABA season. The extension will give Hernandez one year guaranteed with a multi year option.

“We are very excited to bring back Coach Hernandez,”said Paul.”The future of Team Trouble Basketball looks very bright.”

Team Trouble’s commitment on the court to deliver a competitive team with the ability of winning games, has Coach Hernandez ready for the upcoming ABA season.

“I am excited to be back for another season with Team Trouble,” said Hernandez.”James Paul runs a classy organization and really cares for the players and community. ”

In the team’s inaugural season, Hernandez helped lead the team to a 15-4 record to finish second in the Far West Division. In addition to their great regular season finish the team made a deep playoff run, which took them all the way to the Far West Division Championships in San Diego, CA. Unfortently things did not go as planned as the team fell 94-107. Despite their season ending many fans looked back at what they achieved as a team.

“He did everything asked of him and seem to have the respect of the players,” said Jovan Bankston, Executive Director, The team finished within one game of winning the Far West Division. “I feel that this will help our team as they’ll already know the coach coming into the season.”

As the season quickly approaches Hernandez and his coaching staff will look to get back to work with the goal of building another high quality team.

“I’m looking forward to being a more up tempo team generating quick high quality shots and playing solid defense, which will make the game fun for our players and exciting for our fans,”said Hernandez.”Our goal is to get the Elite 8 and once we get there anything can happen.”
